AHHH!!!!! I'm going to call sales and ask them if they're going to follow through with not supporting dotnetnuke. If they say yes, I'm with you!!!

If someone is going to recommend a new hosting provider, I'm also curious if they support Exchange. That's so nice!

As a note, on MS Shared hosting you can no longer set permissions for Network Service, which prevents you from installing DotNetNuke.  I was also told by support (after 4 days of waiting), that it is not possible.

Sir with regards to your query,
basically, since the upgrade of our ASP.Net framework in MS Shared
hosting from v1.1 to v2.0,
installation of the DotNetNuke is no longer possible due to our ASP.Net
v2.0 security policies.

Does anyone know of a good hosting company for DotNetNuke, in the same price range and features as 1and1 shared MS Business.

Hmmm... I can still set permissions for the network service account on my webspace via webfiles.  Who told you that?  My bet is a 1and1 support person???

I called support and they all know about it now. They just say they've pulled their support, but will be offering some dedicated hosting in January

I'm getting an error and I saw I'm not the only one getting it.  This error occurs when I try to test the SMTP server settings.  I've tried various SMTP servers, including 1and1's server and get the same thing every time.  Anyone have a solution to this error?

Error: Host Settings is currently unavailable.

Peterfnet,

Pulled their support? What support?  *LOL*..

What do you mean they all know about it now?  I can still set the appropriate permissions.  Like I said, I don't have any problems with my dnn site.  And I see you have yours up and running also.
