hi all

I am getting a continous error from the DNN installation process. The error occurs while executing the DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider script and due to this InstallRoles.sql file also generates error. A log file is generated for this error In Log file the error is

"System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Timeout expired.  The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.
   at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.ExecuteNonQuery()
   at DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider.ExecuteADOScript(String SQL)
   at DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider.ExecuteScript(String Script, Boolean UseTransactions)"

Remaining portion of this log file is script for DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider and nothing else.

Please help me to find solution for this problem.

Check your conn strings in your web.config firtst.

Make sure the SQL DB Engine is running
