It appears that GoDaddy puts the DNN install in a virtual directory and you as the customer have no access to this directory.  So, you cannot do simple things like even viewing web.config.  The virtual directory does not show up in any of the GoDaddy screens.  It is a very limited support.

i had it installed in the root directory, not in the virtual directory, and it still never worked when it comes to child portals.
like i said, i respect them for providing huge bandwidth and disk space for good money plus unlimited domains etc, unlike some rip-offs out there. but they should never have put dotnetnuke on the list of their supported software, even their virtual directory install never worked for me.

I am sure if any of the senior DNN people will call them and sort it with them, They will find a way around it.

So move Guys.
