Hi,

I am unable to install the starterkit4.3.5.  Iam using VS2005, downloaded the starterkit zip file and clicked on the installer file. Even though zip file contains dotnetnuke.zip, ModuleVB.zip, moduleCS.zip and skin.zip, the installer complains that the files are missing. hence my installation is not done.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

-RS

Manually unzip the starter kit zip file first, before running the installer.

Thank you!

This worked now, I unzipped the files and could complete the installation of starterkit4.3.5.  but now the problem is my Visual Studio 2005 crahses when I open File->New option.  I cannot check how my installation went if this doesnt work.

Any suggestions.  Also, I stored the zip and the unzipped folders in my desktop and then installed. do we need to install in any particular folder?

Thanks and Warm Regards,
Sumathi R

I used the DNN installer rather. Everything went smooth in no time!

Thanks,
RS
