I haven't seen this one.

Is \Hamiltonfire your virtual directory?  I use a shared hosting environment and I have to create a virtual directory in order for the DNN files so my website is www.vasus.com/market .  So my root directory is the same as my virtual directory \market (and this is where all my DNN files are).

Instead of dumping the 3.3.7 folders into my root (virtual directory), I just replaced my old 3.2.2 files with the 3.3.7. files.

Download this free upgrade video for DNN.  Try to follow their steps and your upgrade should work.

http://www.dnncreative.com/HowtoupgradeDotNetNuke/tabid/202/Default.aspx

Watch the video.  Don't use just the key points mentioned on the page.

I started checking all the links to my site and every once in a while I still find an error.  But I think I have incompatible skins and modules that I am now upgrading as well.  As I sort through these I'll keep you up to date.  But try that video.

Bill, I changed shut the custom error off and this is what it showed after hitting the site again. Let me know that you think. Configuration Error

I had the exact same error when upgrading from 3.2.2 to 3.3.7.  The fix for me was to have a <remove> directive for all the DNN httpmodules and httphandlers in my sub-app's web.config.  And then, to copy the .dll's of each of those DNN httpmodules and DotNetNuke.dll into my sub-app's /bin folder.

Hope it helps...
