The installation went ok, if there are no issues listed in the log and in the event viewer.

Starting with DotNetNuke 4.4.0, only basic modules (HTML and Links) are installed by default, the others can be installe on demand, if you log in as host and go to Menu Definitions menu item in Host menu. At the bottom, there are all modules listed, that can be easily installed by activating the associated checkbox and hitting install.

Nope, unfortunately, I do not have anything in this category.... No module listed, no possibility to activate anything. But I can still install them manually, by browsing my computer, uploading a zip module and installing it. But this new functionality is not working.

leupold and others, please check my first post, I have updated the log I had (I have restored the database, then the files and I have re-done an upgrade to check the log message...)

Quite short isn't it ? Where is the problem (if it is a problem...). That's strange, this new functionnality of adding new modules is not working as it should (nothing is listed in the modules to be installed).

this is correct - as long as you do use the upgrade package, there are no module packages contained.
