Ahhh... you are right, it is a browser issue. Thanks for pointing that out.

I think what your are experiencing is a browser issue. What browser are you using?

When I use Firefox to revisit a site and click on the "User Name" field, the User Name is shown and if I click on it the password is automatically filled in. When I use IE7 the User Name is shown but the password is not; these are functions of the browsers. These are the settings (Options/Security - Passwords - Remember passwords for sites) in Firefox; I haven't found the settings for IE7. Hope this helps.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get around this? I have not been able to get any IE browser to remember passwords. Autofils passwords on other sites, but not DNN's. Firefox works great. Unfortunately, most of our users use IE.

That's what I have been doing. It is not working for me. IE remembers passwords for other sites but not DNN sites. Our portal is not yet open to the public but we do have a few people working on it, admins etc. and, to my knowledge, everyone is experiencing the same thing: IE does not autofill the password. Mozilla does.

IE7 does not even ask to remember a DNN password. Is there some sort of weird setup with the INPUT type?

IE7 asks on other sites, but not a DNN ones, what is DNN doing wrong?
