That list reads more like a wish-list than a specification... does it look like it was actually implemented? I've certainly not seen it work like that yet? Anyone?

heh-  I can't vouch for every item on the list, but the login redirect seems to be legit (handled under Admin>User Accts>...) I am usually after what dstjohnjr is after- returning the user to the same page after login. Works for me!

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for your feedback and input on this topic!  After reading through everyone's posts, I am happy to report that after applying the recommended logic of not specifying a Home page under Admin > Site Settings > Advanced Settings > Page Management, my desired functionality is now in place, which is to return the user to the same page they were on prior to clicking on the Login link, after they successfully login.  Who would have thunk it.  I knew this had to be a simple fix, and it indeed was.

I would be interested to know though what this section under Page Management is specifically supposed to serve.

Thanks again for everyone's feedback and input!

What- clicking on those silly little blue question marks doesn't help?

<grin>

The DNN online help explains a little  bit more HERE.

That's too funny!  Yeah, you mean the silly little blue question marks that say the same exact thing as the text that resides just to the right of them?  That's actually one area DNN could use some help in, as if we didn't know that already.  What use does "The Home Page for your site" serve as a help descriptor anyways?  A much better and more useful description might be "The Home Page for your site.  If specified, redirects users to immediately after logging in.  If not specified, returns users to page they were on before successfully logging into your site."  How's that?  :)

Thanks for the online help reference as well... going to go take a look at that now.

Thanks again!
