I'm using Turkish language pack. And some of my modules doesnt work correctly under Turkish language. For example

I tried to use Active Forums module and, some pages not working because of strange behaviour of url paths.

http://samplesite.com/Forum/tabid/73/ctl/Edit/mid/438/aview/settings/Default.aspx
The above page works with default English locale but it doesnt work with Turkish culture.

The active forums support person said that the i characters in url paths causing this issue. And he said that this is a dnn core bug.

http://samplesite.com/Forum/tabid/73/ctl/Edit/mid/438/aview/settIngs/Default.aspx

I checked URL2 and saw that its working perfectly with Turkish and English locales.

Notice that when i change i to I my urls works well.

Is this a core bug? If so i need assistance to fix this error. What can i do to prevent this error happening with Turkish locale.

I also logged this issue on support.dotnetnuke.com

Here is the link: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?ID=5241

Thanks in advance..

this seems to be an issue with case sensitivity / diacritics. The only solution I have on hand is to exclude the page names from the url, setting

includePageName="false"

for the DNNFriendlyUrl provider in your web.config.

Hi Leupold,
This solution didnt work because problematic part is not pagename, its a part of url

Any other ideas?

in this case it is an issue of the module, please contact the developer to take care of case sensitivity in control names and other URL parameters
