I guess this is the error some of you, guys, are having.

Yes, exactly !!! There is a trick given before (by wallew on 4/11/2007 9:48:36 PM). I have applied this trick, it solves partially the problem, because you have access to the ROOT of server's vendor. It means that if your file for banner vendor are located in the root, it works and it is perfect. If it is not the case, no luck...

But I am sure that if a core team member have a close look to our problem, he will find the problem. Wallew gave the first part of the solution, it is certainly a problem of file permission in the table, by comparing a clean table with our corrupted one, it should be possible to find the proble. On my side, I am not strong enough to find a solution... :-(

PS: If you apply the script proposed by Wallew, TAKE CARE !!! I have done it on my portal, it gives me errors, because I made errors when doing the query, you have to adapt it to your portal. Do a backup of your portal before, but once again, it does not solve everything....

You mean that you can put an image in the FULL path, not only into the root ??? ALL folder are accessible on your path ? I am surprised, why did I only have access to the root ????

Upgraded from 4.4.0 to 4.5.1. All banners and vendors (Admin and Host) were working fine before the upgrade.

Now: Admin vendors OK. Host vendors: Error. "You don't have permission to see the files on the site".

Anyone find a (complete) fix for this yet?

Update: It appears that you can add Host permissions (see SQL script above) for each folder where the banners are stored. Those folders will then show up when adding/editing Host banners. All you need is the right FolderID.

For instance, on my 4.5.1 test site, FolderID 5 and 6 have Host banners. So I ran the script twice using 5 & 6 for the FolderID. Seems to work for me...
