I am developing a site using DNN4.5.0. I made some changes  and now "Edit Text" that used to be availeble earlier at the bottom of the containers for editing text/links is no longer visible where as it is available on Localhost. I logged in as Super User only. Container Menu and container Title "Edit" are available.  Can somebody guide me?

I am also having the same issues.  I created new pages.  Updated data.  Everything fine.  All editing functions were there and working.  I changed one page and clicked update, now I am unable to edit anything.  This happened as host user.  I logged in as admin, worked fine.  Did the same thing and now I lost those functions as well as admin.  I then created a new user, added them to the administrators group and they work fine.  However as admin or host, I can no longer edit or modify any existing pager or add content.  There must be a major bug in the source.  Anyone have any Ideas?

in the control panel at the top of the page, did you select view or edit?

I'm having the same problem with both 4.5.0 and 4.5.1. I'm learning DNN using the default portal and when I login as the admin I can edit the title but not the text in modules. If I login as host I can edit both the title and the text. The Edit radio button is checked. I added some new pages thinking that something might be special about the home page but there wasn't a change.

Thanks.

Jon.

I am sure it was in Edit mode because all other features are available except EDIT TEXT. I did all tricks like deleting cache ..etc  tried with both IE and FireFox ,I struggled for a few hours and given up. I . Later on , I logged in as Admin instead of HOST and EDIT TEXT appeared. Then  again I logged in as HOST and to my delight EDIT TEXT appeared. Don't know why this happened. Now it's working fine.
