Did this ever get resolved?  I am getting the same error when I am trying to migrate a portal from DNN 4.0.1 to DNN 4.5.1.  My error message is "Error creating Profile Definitions"

I have looked all over for a solution but have not found anything.  Can someone assist?  Thanks so much!

There is a solution posted by me earlier in this thread.

John, thanks for your reply.

I copied the profile section from the DNN 4.5.1 template (file name: DotNetNuke.template ...this file is located in root>>portals>>_default) and pasted it into the template I exported from DNN 4.0.1.  Once I completed this, I was able to load it into the new DNN 4.5.1 installation with no problem.

I have just upgraded to DNN 4.5.3 and you still can't make a portal. You get the following error at the top of the "Create Portal" page after you click Create Portal using a customized Template:

Error parsing Portal TemplateViolation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'IX_TabPermission'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.TabPermission'.
