I am on a semi-dedicated server at WH4L and have been pouring over the forums for the past week trying to figure out why I have intermittent problems.  These are not high traffic sites.  So I put caching on heavy and I am using SmarterPing (set to 5 minutes).  I cropped my images to be be as small as possible.  There are times where it is lightning fast.  BUT,  I am getting killed with agonizing responses at other times.

I am getting an error in the event log:
EventQueue.ProcessMessage: Message Processing Failed
ProcessorType: DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.EventMessageProcessor, DotNetNuke
But I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.

And, I am also getting a event "Application Shutting Down" a lot (like 5-7 minutes apart)

I understand that IIS will drop my application after a period of inactivity.  but it seems like I am having to reload after just 5 minutes or so.  Another thing I am trying to figure out, is does IIS cache its applications based on the file or on the domain?  For example, I have clickandcreate.us and texasalcohollicensing.com pointed to the same DNN installtion.  Would I need to have SmarterPing hit both?

Any help would be greatly apprecitated.

Frequent application shut down is a Microsoft patch issue.

Thanks for the reference.  I'll take that up with WH4L.  Any thoughts on the other error:

EventQueue.ProcessMessage: Message Processing Failed
ProcessorType: DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.EventMessageProcessor, DotNetNuke
But I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.
