Hello,

I read long ago here that some tabs may disappear once they have been set up as "hidden".
My problem is the following:

- when I was running previous version of DNN (DNN 4.3.7), I set a tab (page) as hidden.
- then, I upgraded (I am not running 4.4.1)
- I have modified the hidden tab to be "non hidden"
==> Problem the tab is still hidden... I imagine that I have to modify something in the table, but which table and what/where ?

Thanks for your help,
Déclic Vidéo FX

have you checked the tabs table for the hidden attribute?

have you checked again after some time as the table might get cached?

Hello Sebastian,

Thanks a lot for trying to help me.
I have of course checked after some time to avoid bothering people here before asking... But it is still the same.

The DB table, I do not know exactly which one I should look at.
I have checked the table TabPermission, and I have (my page = tabID 59):

TabPermissionID  TabID  PermissionID  AllowAccess  RoleID  UserID
234 59 3 True 0 (NULL)
235 59 4 True 0 (NULL)
236 59 3 True -1 (NULL)

I have also checked the Table Tabs:

TabID  TabOrder  PortalID  TabName  IsVisible  ParentId  Level  IconFile  DisableLink  Title  Description  KeyWords  IsDeleted  Url  SkinSrc  ContainerSrc  TabPath  StartDate  EndDate  RefreshInterval  PageHeadText
59 27 0 MyTabName True (NULL) 0   False AAAAAA BBBBBBBB CCCCCC False   (NULL) (NULL) //MyTabName (NULL) (NULL) (NULL) (NULL)

Of course, I can delete this page and move all modules on it, but I find this strange. I am sure that I read somewhere here the same story, but I have searched for it, impossible to get the hand on it !!! It was a problem solved with the new DNN versions, but if you had "hidden" a page in the past and upgraded, then you have this problem... There is a "trick" to do to recover it, impossible to remember or find it...

This all looks ok. Do you use special characters in page name, title, description or keywords, that might prevent the page from showing up?
