I got DotNetNuke installed just fine, then i was able to login just fine (the first time), for some reason, a login box popped up when i clicked on "admin" tab to configure the site, kind of like in IIS, when you don't have annonymous access checked.

I am confused because no where does it ask me in the install to configure it or not, for annon access.

After closing that window like 5 times, it was saying i dont have permission to access this site.  After it finally went away, i logged out, tried to log back in as admin and all of my passwords for admin and host are for some reason are wrong.  I know they are correct.

Anyone know the fix for this, and anyone know how to "reset" login and passwords?  Do i have to reinstall?

This sounds like intergrated security is checked in IIS and not to allow anon requests. You may want to check your config on the website. I've never seen anything like this happen before, but I do know around the password problem. Create a new user with a password you know. Then open up the DB grab the encrypted password and paste it in your host account's password. You should be able to log in as host then. You can also set your new user to the role of superUser and do the same thing. I don't remember the exact tables and fieds at the moment, but you sohuld be able to figure it out.

From what i know about IIS and web design, the only thing that it would "force" you to login, after you have logged into the site, would be when Annonymous Authentication is NOT checked in IIS.

But, since it "is" checked, I am thinking there is something in the config file.  I was thinking maybe in the database, but i am not sure about that one.

I need some insight.  I am about to do a fresh install in a subdomain to see if that gets the same thing.  Then I would say that it is something on the host.
