One way to see the account login page when logged is as admin is to switch to design mode.

I'm not Gayle but I'm guessing you can help me.  I want signin.asxc as my initial page - I see the code I just don't know how to make it visible - like we had with 2.0.  It's in the source and loaded - how do I hook it up?

Not sure exactly what are you looking to do. If you want your default page to have just login, there is an easy way to do it with the framework itself. You won't need any code changes for that.

Can you, please, provide a tad more details?

I followed the steps the first one didn't do a thing but I used the second step to revert it back to the older one and it appears to work.  Any idea as to what caused this?
