Just one more piece of the puzzle.  We were running the DNN installation (3.3.7) on a shared hosting environment and everthing was fine (7 sites, all low usage).  We decided to move it to a Virtual Private Server to increase the peformance. They copied the directories and the DB to the new server and since them our apps have been shutting down every 30 seconds.  Our event log is filled with shutdowns, even when there are no starts in between.  All the shutdowns continue withing a few seconds of each other and then wait 5 minutes and do it again.

We installed the page to check the last 10 processes, but the asp.net configuration is set so it will not report it.

We are at a loss right now.  This has been happening since the Saturday night cut over and our sites are running extremely slow now.  We are in the process of recreating the installation at another hosting company who specialize in nothing but DNN. We will see how it goes.

I am curious to know who your previous and new hosting services were, and did the move clear the shutdown issue.

Has anyone figured out this issue?  We host over 30 DNN 3X sites and this just started to happen on a single site.  It is running 3.3.6.

Looks like it has something to do with the search index scheduler.
