Affects: DNN versions 4.5.5 and 3.3.7 ...possibly others

The File Manager does not work properly in Firefox. If you have more than 20 or so folders under your portal root (or host root) and you click to expand the tree, the folders at the bottom will hidden. There is no way to scroll down to them. The only way to access the obstructed folders is to delete folders above them in the list. I'm using the default skin and doctype (although changing the doctype will break it in IE7 as well).

Here's an image that demonstrates what I'm talking about:

Could someone suggest:

1) A fix, perhaps a hack in /js/dnn.controls.dnntree.js ?
2) An alternative module (free or commercial) for file management that works in all major browsers.
3) Possible workarounds?

Thanks very much!
-Frank

Find this line of code in the Filemanager.ascx (under the folder admin > files) using your text editor

<asp:panel id="pnlTreeInitScripts" style="MARGIN-LEFT: 2px; overflow:auto;"  Runat="server" width="200" Height="300">

Then just add the red text.

With "overflow:auto" u will see a scrollbar whenever the height or width of the element is higher then the element container.
