Oh, yeah I also meant to say forget about the panes. They really don't come into play when creating a module.

k thanks! ...going to go the route of creating one module that has a treeview on the leftside and your details on the right - next question on this one - this is 1 "View"/.ascx page also? not a sep for the treeview and another for the detail.....correct?

makes sense.

yes, otherwise you would have separate stepx. your view.ascx file can of course be combined of other controls.
