Hi

Any clues as to why our site is suddenly looping back in on itself ?

Here's a WGET transcript that shows the problem, it goes round on an infinite loop, this is from a call to the main portal front page. Authentication is working properly.

Not sure what changed to cause this, tried an IISRESET, but as I don't know anything about DNN I'm not sure what to check next. Our guy who set this up isn't here so am looking for a bit of help to troubleshoot and fix this. Not seeing anything in the IIS logs of any note...

I'm having the exact same problem. I configured my DNN installation using the configuration wizard, and when it finished and I tried to "view site", it goes into this infinite redirect loop. I've doublechecked that the HTTPAlias setting in the dnn_PortalAlias database table points to where my site actually is (localhost/DotNetNuke_2), and it was already pointing to the right place, so that didn't help. I also tried, for good measure, to change the HomeDirectory setting in the dnn_Portals database table to the same setting as above, but to no avail. What is causing this error and what can I do to fix it?

There wasn't really much I could change. I changed the site title and confirmed that the database settings was the same as in the web.config. I also enabled a couple of modules, but that was really all I could change from the configuration wizard.
