Update: I was able to experience the madness firsthand. After trying to pacify my customers, and not being able to figure out why they can't see critical content, I logged into my Vista machine and experienced it for myself.
Here's a run down.
The Page: Three modules: first visible to everyone (and this correctly shows all the time) Second - visible to one role, third visible to another role
I login and only see the first module (even though I have permission to see all three).... on my xp machine sharing an internet connection, I, in fact, do see all three.
I delete templ file on the browser and then see all the content.
I later refresh the page and the 2nd and 3rd modules disappear (how is that not related to dnn?)
Then I refresh and only see 2 of the 3 modules.
I play around with the server cache settings, and again I only see one module (mind you, I should see all three the whole time)
I refresh the browser and I now see all three.
If my customers are 1/10 as frustrated as I am, they will never do business with me again.
Why should I keep DNN? This is absolutely insane.
