Peter,

Where did you get the source for DotNetNuke.Authentication.LiveID.dll? The source download here:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=77052&package_id=252999&release_id=555439

includes the binary, but not the binary sources.

Anybody want to post there fixed version of DotNetNuke.Authentication.LiveID.dll file and instructions on how to install the new file?

Ok if you would like to logout of your account without getting the red x.gif error message from Windows Live ID follow these instructions:

Delete the DotNetNuke.Authentication.LiveID.dll file from /Bin/Providers/ and upload this one http://www.graphicsphere.net/LiveIDDLL.zip that includes the changes mentioned prior to this post. I had to change the login.ascs.cs file so that res.End(); logsout of Windows Live ID without the red x.gif error message.

If you would also like to see the changes for yourself you can download the source files I used to rebuild the solution in Visual Studio. http://www.graphicsphere.net/LiveID.zip

We are facing this issue in DNN5.1.1 and we have not been able to get the fixed DotNetNuke.Authentication.LiveID.dll for DNN5.1.1 for CKS LiveID Logout issue.

So we researched and developed fix of our own, and published the entire project including the changed source on codeplex.

You are welcomed to visit the project at http://dnn511liveid.codeplex.com and download the compiled dll and, or source.
