Same problem here. I have a new favicon.ico in the root and the portal root and the site still pulls up the DNN favicon that is not even on the site. Are you sure DNN is not using a relative address for this graphic in the core DNN code? I scanned the site with my FTP client and there is no favicon file other than the one I uploaded. I cleaned my Browser cashe to make sure it wasn't pulling it from there and still the site pulls up the DNN favicon file. www.hotairballoonohio.com.

I went to the HAIBO (hot air) site and I see the balloon Favicon file correctly, in most cases I find it's a browser issue not loading the correct file, some browsers will load the new one immediately, sometimes not

I have a similar problem with this site http://www.creative-dreaming.com/ - I'm pretty sure it used to work, and it works in all browsers except for me using IE7 where instead of the favicon.ico it displays the IE empty page icon.

If someone is still using IE7 could you please take a look and let me know.

And if anyone has any ideas (I've already cleared my local IE cache) they'd be much appreciated.

Thanks,

IE has a local icon cache, I am not sure atm if there is an UI option to clear it.
