Perhaps someone can help me in this matter.

I have used DNN for a while and find it great. I have a website for Danish churches in ASP with an MSAccess database. I would like to upsize it (convert it) into DNN.

I have tables with ab. 3000 posts. Please see www.kirker.dk  . I have been able to put the MSAccess data it into a MSSQL database, but I cannot figure out how to put it into DNN.

I would like the website to show a page for every church like this www.church.dk/Achurch  www.church.dk/Bchurch  etc . This will help SEO in Google etc.

I read in DNN forum about the posibilities of upsizing Access table into DNN SQL database via SQLGridSelectedView.

Can I use SQLGridSelectedView as a solution or do you have any other suggestions?

I’ll be very grateful to any help.

kind regards

Carsten

I am not aware of a module, allowing this.

There really isn't a way to do this without writing some custom transformations in SQL to import the data.  You need to map data to correct fields, as well as populate fields where data doesn't exist and possibly manipulate data in the ASP/Access dtabase to populate multiple DNN fields.  It takes a good understanding of the structures of both databases and a command of transact SQL to get this done.

Thanks!

Can I get some of the data from the MSAccess database with a SQLGrid programme?

AFAIK SQLGridSelectedView from www.tressleworks.ca shall be able to display data from MS Access databases.
