That doesn't mean IIS is configured correctly, just that it's configured correctly for serving static content.  In a default installation, IIS 7 doesn't serve ASP.NET files.  You need to install that function.  See www.iis.net for help configuring IIS.

Still no solution for me. I tried other alliases, to install in wwwroot, to create the same virDir as in localhost (stonline_dnn_04.05.05), however, nothing worked.

Everytime, it redirects to localhost...

Here is how I fixed the problem:

- Edit HTTP Alias under Portal Aliases

- Remove the "http://" from the URLs.
