In the controller class -- same place you probably implemented the Import and Export Modules routines ... add a module to implement the Entities.Modules.IUpgradeable.UpgradeModule functionality.

This modules will be called with every version of  xx.xx.xx.SqlDataProvider you have you manifest.  Since my modules does not have any related SQL commands to execute, I just create an empty placeholder file (remember UTF-8 format).

In side the routine, I just had a case statement for version I wanted to perform the upgrade.  Seem to work well.

Paul.

Another thing to consider is that the old .ascx file will exist out there unless you include a 00.00.00.txt in addition to your 00.00.00.SqlDataProvider file to delete the file. Obviously changing 00.00.00 to your proper version number.
