use feedrinse.com -- a free service that can consolidate feeds, then apply some filter rules, then generate a result.  Also, Yahoo pipes can do this and add some programming logic.  Use the resulting feed from these sources as the single feed to your RSS feed module.

Sebastian,

Do you know if the new Core news module will be using the Search scheduled task to drive updates? Orizonti's (while very good - I like using it a lot) seems to rely on this scheduled task to update. I use a 3rd party search product and am in the process of switching rss aggrigators so i can shave off this scheduled task to increase site performance.

Feedrinse is good and very simple to use. impressive. Be aware though that unlike the module mentioned previously here, feedrinse will not allow you to edit the 'template' used or any fine editing. Thank you, - Rae
