I do not know which forum to post this in but I am having a major problem with my DNN installation.

I am running DNN 4.8.2 on IIS 6 hosted on a Pentium 3 with 512MB RAM on my local network.

DNN worked fine for quite a while but recently it stopped allowing me to update. Some of the time when I click it will work but about 19 clicks out of 20 do nothing but appear refresh the page and lose whatever values I selected for or entered in the form fields.

To my knowledge I have not made any changes to the configuration of the site and I am not running out of disk space.

Can anyone suggest possible solutions to this issue?

Most of the time what you're describing is caused by having a value set for Cache for custom modules. Turn caching off for the module, on the module definitions page, and in the module settings for any installed instances of that module.

Let me know if that helps

All of the modules on my site are set to 0 for cache. If the caching for custom modules was the issue would it cause a problem on pages that do not use any custom modules (I'm having major problems adding documents to a Documents module)?

It just took me about 30 tries to change the cache settings on my host options.

I forgot to add that it is still not working to the above message.

Is it truly 0? Where are you looking to see that it is set to 0?
