What is the best rich text editor? The default rich text editor that comes in with DNN doesn't work in Safari 2.x and 3.x

Does someone know any editor that works across all platforms?

Many thanks in advance.

We've really enjoyed using the integration with Telerik's RadEditor, though that'll run you $999 if you don't already own the telerik RadControls suite.  Otherwise, the only other rich text editor that I know of with a DNN provider is FreeTextBox, which, as I understand it, isn't any better than FCK (the current default).

Hope it helps,

For DNN, Telerik is about it.

AFAIR there are other commercial editors like CuteEditor, though I haven't tried it. FreeTextBox is no longer officially supported by the framewok, there might be issues using it with latest DNN version.

CuteEditor does work with DNN and is very close to RADEditor in features.  There are some features that are better in Cute and some features that are better in RAD.  Cute is much less expensive.  Not sure if Infragistics editor has a provider for DNN or not - I doubt it.
