Hi,

I'm facing this issue of File Manager Not showing Folder tree View structure in my DNN installation.

Please see the attached Image below to get a better view angle of my problem.

See in the above image you cannot see Folder tree View structure Though there are Multiple Folders under Folder Root.

I've cross checked that the Full website and the portal Root has got File System Full Access to "Network Security" service account as I'm using Windows server 2003.

Please help. Either this is related to some Folder PErmissions isuse of DNN or might be some kind of messing up in web.config.

Any kind of suggessions are welcomed.

uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE) [nsIDOMParser.parseFromString]" nsresult: "0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE)" location: "JS frame :: http://192.168.1.2/js/dnn.xml.js :: anonymous :: line 64" data: no]

And this Error in SAFARI 3.1.1 Development Console:

TypeError: Undefined value
http://192.168.1.2/js/dnn.xml.jsparser.js (line 170)

Please help,  any DNN guys .. please help me out ...

Varun,

make sure, that "Network Service" account has full file system permission for the dotnetnuke installation directory including all subfolders.

In DNN Filemanager, please perform a recursive sync (upper right corner), and all items shall show up again.

Thanks for your reply.

The Network Service has FULL ACCESS. infact I did Full Recursive Reset of File Permissions to the website.

Also the Recursive Sync of File Manager Didn't helped either. The Tree View of Folders is Still missing.

The Permissions are set correctly, this can be said because I CAN add folder, see, I can Add new folders, and then just after adding i can UPLOAD new files to that folder, and the file Do Upload correctly, but the issue is, I CANNOT See the tree view of Folder Structure, thus CANNOT change the folders. :(

Seeking your advice. Thanks.
