urlcontrol.ascx is located in Website/controls while code behind urlcontrol.ascx.vb is located in Library/controls.

Width is set by default to 300 px, but this can be overridden by modules setting "width" property of the control.

Thank you all for your help.

Maybe my question wasn't clear but I have figured things out.

The width of the 'File Location'-box in the fck-editor's popup screen is set in providers\htmleditorsproviders\fck\fckgallery.aspx

The width of the 'File Location'-box in a module is set (for example in case of Announcements-module) in desktopmodules\announcements\editannouncements.ascx

In both cases the value is set at the 'ctlURL'-id.
