Hello,

User who has "Edit Page" privilege can edit page and design page.
I'd like to configure one user can edit page contents but cannot design page layout.
Is it possible?

Thank you,

if you grant "edit" permission on module level (in module settings), users will be able to edit module content but not manage page.

Where is "Module Setting"?  I can find "Module Definitions" menu but I cannot configure permission in the "Module Definitions".
Thank you & sincerely,

The permissions heirarchy goes:

Admin >> Page Editor >> Module Editor

This means that anyone with Page Edit rights also has Module Edit rights, but not the other way around.

You set page edit rights by going to the page, and clicking the Settings icon up top-left.

You can set module edit rights by clicking the Settings icon/link within the container of each module. If the settings icon or link is not visible then look on the little actions menu within the module's container. Settings will be there.

Note also that you must have roles created in advance for these permissions/rights levels. And you should also have account/s created for each level of user and assign them the correct role.

The Design mode option that shows at the very top left can be set to display only to Page Editors by going to Admin, Site Settings and looking for "Control Panel Security" in the Usability Settings section. Set it to Page Editors.
