Sorry I didn't see this sooner for you.  Here is a link to a discussion about this on Smarthinker where folks are using the DMX module (great product by the way!)  I am using these settings for a client needing to upload 100 MB files and they are working fine.

Wow, I just noticed that you said "dial-up".  I have to wonder if there is even a long enough timeout that would work for that!  I am not up to date on the specifics but I believe there are also security concerns if you set these values too high.

I think if I had this requirement, I would write some vbScript to run from the local machine that would upload the file to the proper directory for them.  You can then set the host value to auto-sync the file system so the files show up in the file manager.  If you do a Google search for vbscript & ftp there are some nice code samples that show up.

Well I tried the Bring2Mind settings, sort of... upped to 150MB and timeout to 1200, to allow 20 minutes. No matter what I try, it fails after about 2 minutes in and I get a 'page can not be displayed error' (IE8).

Here's the string:
    <httpRuntime useFullyQualifiedRedirectUrl="true" maxRequestLength="150000" requestLengthDiskThreshold="8192" executionTimeout="1200" />

Could it have something to do with running Windows7? Not sure why, but maybe...? And to be honest, when I was operating Vista, I tried a similar thing and had the same error, even when I was connected to the computer running DNN via its computer name (was set as an alias for the portal) across the LAN.
