Do you select - Arial Medium - and choose Font - Arial and Size - Medium from the toolbar?
Your code is not the code that this editor set when you do the above.
You entered <font> tag after <span> with styles.

<p><span style="font-size: medium"><span><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="3">Arial medium</font></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small"><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Arial small</font></span></span></p>

FCK editor doesn't do it. You made it somehow.
Please do what I do and see the problem

Hello Sebastian,

I don't understand your answer to the text size problem.
I raised it in a couple of threads and no one told me something that I can accept or understand.

"test size depends on CSS applied"
What does it mean? Applied to what?  CSS Applied? Do you mean classes in a CSS file? Which file? Skin.css?
I set it here - Arial Small - with this editor - doesn't it have CSS applied here?
I don't see Arial Small - as it should be.
Does someone need to do something with this www.dotnetnuke.com that I will see it as needed?

It might depend...
What is it?

Please explain.

Can you help also with my original post? First post here.
I don't see modules menu in DNN484 that I worked with.
Is there a known problem?

Thanks
Nir

OK, i went to my life portal running 4.9.3, inserted a text/html and typed the well known 3-line text. Then i formatted it only (!) with the toolbar.

The Source copied from my life portal into this thread:

<p><span style="font-size: medium"><span style="font-family: Arial">Arial Medium</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small"><span style="font-family: Arial">Arial small</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: xx-small"><span style="font-family: Arial">Arial xxs-small</span></span></p>

It will be rendered like this:

Arial Medium

Arial small

Arial xxs-small

Sorry, i did nothing else then just using the tools i have.

Arial Medium

Arial small

I copied 2 lines from your message above.
If I look at this with source (FCK editor) I see the following code:

<p><span style="font-size: medium"><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="3">Arial Medium</font></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small"><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Arial small</font></span></span></p>

Sorry. But as I see your lines in the FCK editor they have <font> tag.

I took the same 2 lines from your source code and I put it here with FCK (source mode):

Arial Medium

Arial small

See what I got.

Arial Meduim
