OK, thought I was being daft, but I wanted to check!

Does your receiver module have caching enabled? I suppose that could be causing the problem you describe.

I found in a blog post a few minutes ago that a module like this receiver should have the cache time set to -1 in the manifest; that means that caching cannot be enabled for the module ever, which in this instance feels like the right thing to do.

At the very least, a cache time of 0 seems right.

Which version of DNN are you using?
4.x should work...
5.0.0 doesn't work for IMC, 5.0.1 does I think.
Recommend you upgrade when 5.1.1 comes out.

Thanks...

Hi Elie,

It's been a bit since I've worked with IMC, but as I recall it is performed very early in the control lifecycle.  My best guess here is that the change you are attempting is being overwritten by a later control event.  The most likely culprit would be view_state; consider disabling it to see if it remedies the issue.  Otherwise, look for any code that might later reverse the assignment you are looking to see.

Hope this helps!

Brandon
