One more round...

Just before I uninstalled it, I decided to try to create another instance of the current DNN version.
So, I created a new website in VWD using the DNN Framework Template and again answered each question with the default values (though I did give the database a new name).  I think I entered everything exactly as I did before, but to be honest, I didn't take good notes either time.  Shame on Me!

This time everything worked and the software is running perfectly.
I'm out of explanations... but I'm happy!

Peace,
Colt

I have NEVER had a DNN installation work on the first try.  It ALWAYS a bunch of work.

Alas, no answers are forthcoming?  I have the same problem.

Running on II6/Win2003.  The only thing out-of-the-ordinary I did was enter a tablename prefix (sorry I don't remember the exact name of the field).

I'd love to fix this and move on...

Thanks,

BK

Same problem here. Tried to install dnn 5.1.2 for 3 times (removing files and database), with no luck. I have exact the same error as above.

I can say I'm an experienced installer, did 7 installs before of DNN, although older versions. I have had never this much problems as with this version 5.1.2.
Please do something about it!
