Unfortunately  I doubt this has anything to do with the skin as I switched it back to the MinimalExtropy - index full that was shipped with dnn and the problem still exists.  Neither IE8 nor IE8 in compatibility mode will allow a login.  It does give you message if you don't use a proper login name or password tho.  When you log in with the proper credentials it just refreshes the current page and does not log the user in.  I am using version 05.02.00 (275)  I am also using godaddy hosting and I am not sure how to get the updates installed on there or I would have done that to see if the issue exists in the new version.  

Please help, this is a huge issue as many people still use IE....

 I'd also like to note that the site log says "Login Success" and there is no logged error of any kind for the failure.  It just leaves you logged out and refreshes the page.  FF and Chrome work fine, this issue seems to be specific to IE.
