Thanks for the advice, I was happy to find a work around.

Another issue was once I installed the forum I could not remove it without error.  I had to delete the page in the admin menu (because deleting it from the top menu would error out) and start a new one each time I tried something new.

It looked like the old forum version that came with the older dotnetnuke cms possibly even beta didnt have the same stored procedures.

I was trying to find the easiest work around first for anyone not so "script savy" to fix the issue with.  Then I was going to start digging deeper.  Im still pretty new to DotNetNuke as I am wanting to get into the skinning of it next.  Best CMS I have messed with and I have used them ALL.  I wish the shopping cart module was a little more developed as I dont think it is that nice however there are some nice ones you can buy...

My goal eventually is to have a way to build professional ecommerce sites without having to use multiple script systems or needing to do a bunch of coding/modding for each one, just skinning and adding content.  the new OSCommerce is a nice shopping cart system I wish they would push it past alpha as it is very powerful. If only dotnetnuke had one this flexible that was built in with it and open source.... I have used a lot of php based CMS and commerce systems but I really want to be using aspx as I love the way it works in the end. keep up the good work contributors :)!
