You need to log in to PokerDIY to fully appreciate the problem, so here are some screenshots to demonstrate the user experience with portal Edit skins:

1) The PokerDIY Poker League manager app (while logged in) - http://www.pokerdiy.com/mob.aspx  - this skin/screen is 7k large

2) Click through to one on your poker leagues and click on Add Game - the PORTAL Edit Skin loads(all 95k of it)

The log in screen is another problem and all other content edit screens...

Rodney, 

How are you building your edit links?  Say, the "Add Game" link?  Is it part of the DNN action menu or are you using navigateURL? If you are building the links yourself, you could modify your code to add the skin source parameter if the user agent is a phone.  Or perhaps add it using JQuery.  If you are using the DNN actions menu, this might not work.

Thanks for the suggestions - I was able to add the skinsrc param onto the end of the module links (I do a whole new set of UIs for the mobile versions). I still think the simple, sensible solution is to extend Edit Skins to page level ;)
