Yes on rechecking permissions. They all pass. The last message is Failure running database scripts.

This is a new install. Not an upgrade. Have re-reun with FireFox and get same results as IE8.0.

In my previous reply to your question, I failed to answer your question Did the Next Button get enabled? No it did not, I had to close the window at that point.

I started with a new DB and new original web.config file. When it started installing database scripts it failed in a few seconds this time. Here is the last line in the listbax.
Upgrading Database to Version 05.04.01...FAILURE ERROR: Error: Could not find file 'C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\cu5l_yas.dll'.
Error: Could not find file 'C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\fwwja40a.dll'.

Does this give you what you ask for. Appreciate your support and advise.

there seems to be an issue in your .net installation, maybe the user doesn't have sufficient windows permission. Besides, on Windows 7 make sure, extracted files are "unblocked".
