I can log in, but for new members when ‘Register’ is clicked the page just reloads with no registration form.  HELP! I’ve just started advertising the site and no one can join!

I have the user registration set to Verified (although I’ve tried other settings)

I have tried creating a login page are also removing it all together – but still no use.

When I delete the logon module from a page. The Logon and Register navigation buttons appear but to the same problem occurs.  – Please help.

Using 5.4.1 – www.Ambu999.co.uk

Dave this should be an easy fix. Go to your Admin/Site Settings page, under advanced settings there is a list of dropdown lists, one for Register page I believe. Make that "none specified" or whatever the first option is. That should correct your issue.

Hi Chris
I've tried that and it all goes back to the home page.when you press Register. (Used to have the logon module there, but I deleted it some time ago)
I've tried setting the page management to <None Specified> and also to the actual page where I have placed the Account Login module - Am I correct in assuming that there is no Register module, it's just integrated within the Account Login module?

Where does it pick-up the address of the register page, is it in code or in the database - if in the database where about is it so I can check.

Thanks for your quick response, I'm panicing here to get people registered.

Thought if I installed a third party logon it would solve the problem. But, no, same problem It's just the Register part that puts you back to the home page or reloads the same page. Can I reinstall the DDN module for Register - is so what's it called and how. PLEASE HELP! - I'm getting my ass kicked by the boss at the moment for recommending DNN!

Further info - spoke to UK DNN company thought it might be a problem with code.
I have found that when Register works, the URL is:

http://www.ambu999.co.uk/Home/tabid/6...

this works. But most times the page gets reloaded or goes to home. The URL from the REGISTER link on the logon register page is:

__doPostBack('dnn$ArtMenu1$dnnUser$cmdRegister','')

Does this give any clues as to what's wrong?
HELP!
