OK, so no matter what I put the Registration page settings, the Register link at the top of the page and on the login screen goes nowhere. Any clues where to go next? The login links work great and I cannot find in any database table where that parameter is being stored.

I'm hoping someone can figure this out. Just to add to things. If I block cookies for the site, the registration link works like a charm. If I don't block cookies, it doesn't work. Cheers

Oh yes. This was working perfectly with DNN 5.1.4 and it has only stopped working after the upgrade. (and was noticed too late to back out...)

It seems to be working fine for me at the moment. I suspect that either an application restart took care of a caching issue. If the issue is still a problem when clicking Register in your own browser, try clearing your browser's cache (of cookies in particular).

Solved my problem.

I had turned on HumanFriendly URLs as per http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryId/1637/Turn-on-HumanFriendly-URLs-in-DNN-4-7-0.aspx. The upgrade turned on Browser detection for languages (I have 2 installed en-US and en-CA) and it was the en-CA people that were having trouble. Shutting off the browser detection fixed the problem.
