As an adminstrator I can upload new documents in various modules but my Web Authors group can not. They can get in to edit content and even add new but they are only able to select existing documents. They need to be able to upload docs wether it be on HTML Pro modules, links or announcements, form and list.  Please help I need to figure this out.  They have edit, add, copy permissions but still nothing.  I can't make them all super users. Using DNN Pro version 5.04.01(26)

Thanks K.

Go on file manager on you DNN instance, and set the Editors role to write permissions to the folders you want the could upload files.

I don't see an option for just write. I gave them add and copy but it did nothing.  I even gave them full control and it did nothing.  Any other ideas?

Thanks

So I had to set the permissions for each subdirectory not just the top directory. Good thing there wasn't that many. But now I'm struggling with conflicts between module security and page security. This is very frustrating trying to determine which permission trumps which. Is there anywhere this is documented? Thanks K

Just noticed that in document manager for the HTML Pro modules the Upload is only available for the PortalRoot folder eventhough the same directorys can be uploaded to in Link and annoucement modules. The confusion grows.
