Hi Sebastian, I'm back! =)

We think in good suggestions to the Gemini! ^^ But it occurred to me another point: lack of ID in form controls. With the ID would be easier to use CSS and JavaScript.

About new memo fields in the table ProfilePropertyDefinition - CustomCSS and Custom ease of doing any customization directly in the control, without worrying that the DNN change the control's id/name and is obliged to redo style/script. A stylish way to inject tags without needing a lot of code.

In addition to the 2 fields for CSS and script, it would be interesting if the page of the form were released to receive modules, which would open the possibility of including a simple HTML module with JavaScript! =]

An interesting example of usage: on lostFocus event of a textbox the javascript could do a calculation verification or automatically fill in other fields or make them read-only ... Anyway, the sky is the limit!

I forgot:

You got to understand why your DNN renders class='modSecurityC' and my DNN renders class='NormalTextbox'?

Marcio, you may add JS code to module header text in module settings. There are discussions to add other IDs in the future as well. modSecurityC is applied to the module DIV, that's why I use the construction to identify the textbox inside

Hi Sebastian

Remember: DNN v5.6.0

*
The form to edit profile dont have 'settings';
The header page ViewProfile dont appears in header page EditProfile;
I cant add new modules in EditProfile page;
With um memo field to custom jscript I can enter onChange="..." onFocus="..." onBlur="..." without 3d party modules.

* good news about add IDs! =]

* .modSecurityC, I must be blind! =D

Piece of my renderized HTML in Edit UserProfile form page:

div id="dnn_ctr_ManageUsers_pnlProfile" style="text-align:left"
table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" summary="Profile Design Table" border="0"
tr id="dnn_ctr_ManageUsers_Profile_trTitle"
td valign="bottom"
span id="dnn_ctr_ManageUsers_Profile_lblTitle" class="Head"
Edit Profile - admin (Id: 1) /span /td /tr
tr td valign="top"
div id="dnn_ctr_ManageUsers_Profile_ProfileProperties" style="width:850px;"
table id="dnn_ctr_ManageUsers_Profile_ProfileProperties_tbl" border="0"
BEGIN LABELS AND CONTROLS

Nothing about .modSecurityC, even using Find/Locate.

oops, you are right, there are no module settings in default setup, but you may create a registration page and specify in Site settings - in in this case you may apply any text and code on the page you like. Regarding modSecurityC, not sure, which DNN I looked this up - but you may use "#dnnctr_ManageUser_UP" or even #dnn_ctr_ManageUsers_pnlProfile instead
