the email for the administrator is sent to the registered user the email for the registered user is sent to the registered user. So the registered user receives two emails and it must be just 1

strange, I never heard about that issue, but I might have overlooked it. You may want upgrade to 5.6.0 (or 5.6.1, which should be available in a couple of days), to see if it is fixed.

Good point. That is my last possiblity to do, I have rechecked everything wat is changed and noticed that it could be in the core. I'll take a look into the upgrade on a test environment. I'll keep you in touch

I have looked inside the source code, and the problem was that it never sends. My Colleage resolved this issue by enabling the commented code but only forgot to add the condition when an administrator mail has to be sent to the administrator (variable userMail not set in Administator Case) I also found this topic on the internet simular to my problem: http://web3.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/107/postid/358127/scope/posts/Default.aspx I have resolved it now by editing the source code (because that was already done). Thanks for your help.
