Thank you William, upgrading to the latest version of DNN seemed to do the trick for the Newsletter module!

However, the custom modules I have created that use Ajax CascadingDropDown and AutoCompleteExtenders do not work any longer.  It appears that the webservices are not working properly any longer.

Well, after searching around I found the solution for the problem.  If you have a folder that you keep your webservices in, move it to the DesktopModules folder and everything will be good to go.
