Hi,

I'm trying to create a child portal. But when I click on the the child portal URL, it points to the parent portal, which makes the child portal can't be open. It was working before, but now it just redirects to the parent portal. My child portal doesn't have a domain name yet, so that I can't configure the IIS bidings to resolve the problem....

Please help....

Can you get to it by logging in as Host to the main portal and going to Host > Portals and clicking on the link to the child portal?

in Host:: portals, please check portal aliases for the child portal.

Hi, I couldn't get to it even login as a host....

I have checked the portal alias and it looks the same as the other child portal, which is in the following format:   ParentDomain/child

Any ideas please?

It works now. I created a new child portal and leave it over night, and I'm able to access the child portal the next morning. So I think there was a service or something would take place to register the new portal before you can access it. Please correct me if I was wrong.

Hope this thread will help others.
