I think there is a bug with version 6.0.2.  I know why it's going to the login page now.  Home.aspx is set as the site's landing page. Through DNN 6.0.2 Administration and ISS 7.0 Configuration tool.

when you type in the URL of http://yourdomain.com/home.aspx you will go tro the landing page without being required to login. If you only type this url in http://yourdomain.com/  You will be taken to the login page. It's making you login.

Now here the bug. Once you type in your username and password you go directly to the News Letter witn needs Administrator login priviliages. I have no clue why or how DNN wants to go to the newsletter page when Home.aspx is the default landing page.
