Do you have any updates on this case?

Apologies if I’m not understating the case correctly.

In the Site Settings > User Account Settings > Registration Settings, one can choose Registration Form Type between “Standard” and “Custom”.  Opting for “Custom” will give the possibilities of choosing which Registration Fields are required.

This setting would automatically modify the “standard” DNN Registration.aspx.

Now, creating a Custom Registration Page (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Video-Library/Viewer/Video/374/View/Details/Configuring-a-Registration-page-in-DotNetNuke-6.aspx), the Registration Settings done was not taken.  Instead, it (Users and Roles Module) shows the OLD DNN Default Fields.  One expects, that the Registration Settings will be forwarded to the Users and Roles Module.  Or, at least, offer the options from the Registration Settings.

I hope this is what Wes was originally raising…

Yeah that was pretty much my point ... pretty much looks like the entire new registration system is half baked ... yet another case of a really badly done feature being released way before it was ready ... bit like that pop up thing in 6.0
