are you using latest version of XMOD? Please use available support options of the developer/vendor for compatibility issues with latest DNN version.

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for all your support, I have written to the xmod people and they send me the following reply. Please guide me how to do that and in last they have written "Finally, the scripts being referenced are DNN scripts and not XMod scripts." please guide,

Thanks

Hi Sansugoi,

It doesn't make a lot of sense to me that you're getting a permission denied error in JS only in IE. Permission denied implies that access is not being granted. If that is the case, IE must be configured block scripts. I do know that IE will block scripts from executing on "localhost" if you don't allow it. You'll need to make sure IE is allowing scripts to be run locally.

Another possibility is if the scripts are trying to access URL's/data outside the current domain (i.e. on another site or even the same site but with a different protocol (http vs. https) or port (:78 vs the standard :80).
See this post:

Finally, the scripts being referenced are DNN scripts and not XMod scripts.

Best,
Kelly
